10 Reasons To Celebrate Your Article Marketing Success BEFORE Your Google Ranking Improves

Before the SEO seeds that you planted
start to grow, there are still things to
*Celebrate*!
When you first start to submit articles, it can feel like you’re holding your breath until your website ranking climbs and more traffic starts to come to your website.
For someone who is brand new to *Article Marketing*, it can take anywhere from 3-6 months for the first fruits of your labors to appear.
During that time, things are germinating with your website and growth is taking place, but you just can’t see it yet.
It’s sort of like when you plant a seed in the ground–the growing takes place even before the sprout breaks the soil.
It is in our human nature to want to see immediate results and to try to cut our wait time for anything as much as possible.
So, why don’t we look for immediate results where immediate results can be found? Instead of focusing on the wait time, why not focus on the perks and progress that are on display right now?
What sorts of things can you celebrate and enjoy when you’re first starting to submit articles and before you see your website ranking climb?
Here are 10 suggestions:

1 – If you’re marketing *Your Website*, you are decades ahead of most other website owners.

A lot of website owners just put their website up and think that visitors will automatically start to appear. You have figured out that it just doesn’t work that way, and you are taking active steps to benefit your website. That in itself is something to feel good about.

2 – Even though direct clicks from the *Articles* themselves are icing on the cake, they’re still delicious!

Who doesn’t love icing? It’s nothing compared to the type of traffic that you can receive from search engines, but you can still rejoice over however many people are finding your website directly through your articles.
One thing’s for certain–you are creating more opportunities for people to find your website than you had before you started article marketing.

3 – The *Content* that you’re writing is helping people who need it, and there is satisfaction in that alone.

Helping others is the real reason for the articles to begin with. You can want to do article marketing to build links and get a higher search engine ranking, but you cannot accomplish that SEO goal without writing helpful content.

4 – You can receive offline exposure for your articles which can bring you more *Customers*.

I have experienced this myself and know of others who have had their online articles published in offline books and magazines. Offline publications don’t impact your search engine ranking, but they can still bring exposure to your business and website. I have met more than a few of my clients as a result of being published offline.

5 – You are learning a very *Useful and Important Skill* that can serve you for a lifetime and which you can teach to others.

You may be a beginner and not know very much about article marketing, but you still know more than someone who has never done it before. It can be very encouraging and empowering to help teach a complete newcomer the basics.
Beginners can be especially skilled at teaching other beginners, because they remember what confused them when they first started and what helped straighten them out. It’s also a benefit that they don’t know enough to teach over someone’s head!

6 – You can also celebrate real victories like  Improving Your Writing Skills.

Even if you are not used to writing (and a lot of us aren’t until we undertake a steady article marketing campaign), you will get better the more you write.

7 – You can celebrate that Your Teaching Skills are Improving with *Each Article that You Write*!

One thing that a lot of folks don’t realize is that writing free reprint articles is really like being a teacher. You might not have thought of yourself as an educator before, but your view of yourself soon changes as you create educational articles.
Teaching is a skill–you can experiment with different methods of teaching. You may feel like some of your experiments were more successful than others, but the point is that you’re refining your teaching skill with each article that you write.

8 – With the more articles that you submit, most likely your titles are improving as well.

Writing a good article headline is not as easy as you might have thought. You only get the hang of writing a good titles with experience. Most likely you can look back on your first titles and think, “I’m so much better at writing headlines now!”

9 – Your creativity is blossoming.

When you write, you use a completely different mental muscle than when you do other types of activities.
Writing requires creativity:
  • creativity in coming up with article topics
  • creativity in your method of teaching in your articles
  • creativity in how your sentences are phrased and how your paragraphs are organized
  • creativity in your titles
  • creativity in writing an effective resource box and customizing your resource box to each article

10 – You can celebrate just sticking with it!

It’s just like when you start a new exercise routine–even before you start to see the jiggly parts become firm and strong, you’re standing taller and actually feeling healthier.
By the same token, with article marketing you know you’re going down a ‘healthier’ path for your website, and you feel good about it even before your website ranking starts to climb.
Just like that seed that grows below the surface where no one can see, you are also experiencing a lot of growth that is so subtle that you probably don’t even notice it.
Life is too short to wait to celebrate. If you are putting forth the effort to learn about article marketing, then you deserve a pat on the back TODAY!
